Angus Croudace

Ecologist

Angus is hugely interested in all manners of the Scottish landscape. He earned a degree in Earth Sciences from Edinburgh University which concluded with a peer reviewed publication researching plumage colouration in dinosaurs.

Since 2020 he has turned his attention to the species within the landscape. He has quickly become an extremely passionate Ornithologist and he spends much of his spare time monitoring scarce and protected species in the Highlands.

He has worked as a Research Assistant for the RSPB on national Hen Harrier and Montane surveys, as well as a fieldworker for several ecological consultancies. He has spent three autumn seasons at Lundy Bird Observatory monitoring migration. His skillset extends to vegetation surveys, butterfly surveys and peatland restoration fieldwork.
