Surveys for Wind Farms and Energy Infrastructure

To date, Redwing has provided the ornithological survey resources and expertise for several hundred onshore wind farms and other energy infrastructure projects such as overhead lines, grid connections and hydro schemes across mainland Scotland and islands including Skye, the Western Isles and the Northern Isles.

Moray West Offshore Wind Farm

Redwing provided Environmental Clerk of Works services for the Moray West Offshore Windfarm Project, ensuring compliance on cabling, substation work, protected species, water quality, biodiversity, and reinstatement standards. Duties included daily logs and monthly reports for the client.

Through regular working with Redwing I have built up a trusted relationship with them due to their good knowledge of ornithology, associated guidance and survey methodologies. They provide helpful assistance and reliably complete tasks to a high quality, whilst fulfilling the requirements of professionalism in the field
