1

Ornithology Surveys

Redwing specialises in bird survey and monitoring techniques to gather data on bird distributions, populations size and movements. These data are used to inform sensitive planning of development projects and mitigation as well as for research and conservation purposes. We use a range of methods including vantage point watches, breeding bird surveys, colony counts and targeted surveys for schedule 1 species.

2

ECoW / EnvCoW

Our Environmental and Ecological Clerk of Works team are fundamental to the construction industry, providing site-based advice and guidance and ensuring best practice and appropriate approaches with regard to environmental features and legislation.

We monitor construction activities and report on compliance to support sustainable development.

3

Protected Species and Habitat Surveys

Our protected species surveys will identify and report on all protected birds, mammals including bats, and other taxonomic groups as dictated by location, designated features and client requirements.   We also do vegetation, peatland and site condition monitoring (SCM) surveys

4

Conservation and Research

We are recognised as experts in the field of raptor translocation and research with involvement in projects across the UK and in Europe.  We offer expert technical advice on, and delivery of species and habitat management plans, translocations and satellite telemetry projects
